Visual editor tab is blank

Hi,
My visual editor tab is displaying blank posts on http://dancinginmyheels.com since I changed to the Expound theme. Please advise asap.

I’m sorry you’re encountering that problem. Can you please try clearing out your cache and cookies using the guide below?
Otherwise please try to see if you can also reproduce this issue in a different browser, for example Firefox or Google Chrome.

I’ve already tried clearing cache and cookies and I’ve tried other browsers. If I go back to using my old theme oxygen there’s no problem. The problem seems to be with the expound theme.

Themes are not tied to the design in your editor. Are you perhaps running any anti-virus/malware software on your computer which might be blocking something in your browser?
If so, please try to disable it, or try to reproduce the issue from a different computer or Internet connection.

I’m not running anything. I have a macbook air and I haven’t changed anything on it besides the theme. Also with the expound theme suggested tags don’t come up either but it works with oxygen

If possible, send me a screenshot, so I can better understand the issue. You can simply upload the screenshot to your Media Library, like any other image, and I’ll be able to access it from there.

Are you perhaps running Safari 6? could you try and update that to Safari 7 using the steps in this guide: https://www.apple.com/softwareupdate/

I just got in touch with our developer and it seems the Expound theme uses additional CSS layout on the editor page.
I’ve just reported the issue will report back once it’s fixed. Thank you!

Our developers weren’t able to reproduce the issue. You were saying that you also encountered the issue in other browser, could you please send a screenshot of that?
Were you also able to reproduce the issue from a different computer or Internet connection?

Have you tried switching back and forth between the Text and Visual editor? Let me know if that helps.

There’s a few of us that update this blog and we are all having issues and we’re all on different computers, browsers and even different countries. I have to clear the cache every time I want to open the post page to edit it to view the visual page.
Switching between text and visual editor doesn’t help either.

Thanks for letting me know. I have been able to reproduce the issue and reported that to our developers. I appreciate your patience as they look into this, as it’s a very unusual bug and may take some time to pin down.

That’s great! I’m going to leave this thread open so you can report any further issues with this. While we believe it’s resolved, because of the intermittent nature of this bug, I want to make sure it’s truly fixed. :)
