Visual Editor unusual bug or virus?

    I can’t edit any pages (just shows white page like nothing finished loading – tried editing with VC and Cornerstone). Visual editor, there should be code but it’s just a blank white slate…UNTIL you hold down left mouse click and you can see text appear like if you’re trying to copy text to paste later. Then, red lines appear, they are the same red lines WORD uses to catch misspelled words. It’s the strangest thing. I tried to restore a backup I made and it also said were errors during the restore. The website is stable for now, but I can’t add anything, change anything. Please someone help me, I’m desperate!!
    I’ve been having trouble editing this website I’m working on for the last week, Chrome started showing this problem, I switched to Firefox and everything was great for a few days, then this problem now affects chrome AND firefox. :(
