visual verses html editor in Add a post
-
Am I correct in assuming that the difference between typing a post in WordPress in the visual mode verses typing it in the html mode (tabs at the upper right in the add a post section of the dashboard) is merely how it looks as you type it? And that the post winds up in html either way?
I ask this because I am trying to format a post to use as a guest post, and other blogs apparently want posts submitted to them to be in html.
Thanks in advance!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You are correct – the only difference is how it looks to you – the end result is basically the same (there are a few things you can do in the html editor that can’t be done in the visual editor, they are some formatting things)
