Visuals not working

All of a sudden the visuals are not working on the blog. I need to edit posts, and the visuals shows up as html. The html also shows up as html… and I need visuals badly.
The upload flash also stopped working for photos.
I’ve tried logging out and clearning my history.cookies already, to no avail. Can somebody please tell me how to get the visuals back on the posts so I can edit?

After clearing your cache and history, did you do a forced refresh? On a PC, that’s ctrl-F5. Mac has a way of doing it, as well, but I don’t remember what it is. (I presume you’re speaking of your editor — that you can only see the html editing mode and not the visual editing mode?)

Also, do you have the most recent version of the browser you prefer? You may need to update/upgrade your browser.

Yes, I have done all of those things, to no avail. I upgaded to the most recent browser last week, but today is the first day that I’ve had any issues. I cannot figure out how to contact the tech people either, and I have lots of edits and posts that need to be revised. I don’t understand why all of a sudden this began this morning. Last night everything was fine.
For the visual edits, it won’t even show me the align bars, or the spell check–everything is exactly the same on the html as on the visual edits. How can I contact the tech people to resolve this issue?

So I’ve been searching the net and it looks like this is happening to a lot of users, and each user is being told it’s their computer… hmm. That doesn’t sound right.
I found this on another forum and it’s EXACTLY what’s happening to me: “For some reason my blog has started to only display (when editing or creating new posts etc) HTML code, I did nothing, haven’t upgraded anything or made any changes for this to suddenly start (happened 3 days or so ago) ..
As well it shows the red x / broken link icon for all sorts of things – such as the icon for “comments” or “add audio” or “add media”. “Upgrades” is also a dud link icon.
And yes I’ve checked, I am not in HTML mode, it makes no diffs if I switch between the visual or HTML tabs ..
FYI, if I click on HELP (which I have minimised as a rule) it opens but displays nothing. The topics appear for a split second then all it shows is “Choose a category” then a gap then “Check out Learn WordPress, chock full of tutorials and walkthroughs to make you a WordPress pro and impress your friends.”
Please help, it looks bloody awful and is seriously unfriendly to use now :(

Looks like it’s been fixed. At least, the forum for the one quoted above was fixed, and suddenly so was mine. :D
