VodPod button – post to WordPress – doesn’t word with latest Firefox 3.0

Dear WordPress Bloggers,
Tonight, I installed the latest Firefox 3.0 on my MAC OS X Leopard. Everything went great – new look – looks great. But when I tried to reinstall VodPod Firefox Extension for WordPress to post videos directly to WordPress, VodPod gave me the message that “Post to WordPress will not be installed because it does not provide secure update.”
This is sad as I loved my Post to WordPress Button and had been using it for more than a year now. I’m sure WordPress staff are working hard at resolving this. If anyone can help – please write or leave a comment.

go to the website and drag the bookmark button to your bookmark tool bar

Our regular Vodpod button works great with Firefox 3, and it has the same exact functionality at the Post to WordPress button (and more). See here:Mark (from vodpod)

epigonic – got that nice orange VodPod button on my Firefox Toolbar – looks great – works great . don’t know why I got that message yesterday, but today all is good and back to business. Thanks to u + tech07. diane

I just got back from VodPod and found the same problem, but they do offer a solution, so I took it and it works fine. You have had it for a year, but I am just getting started with it, so they have a message at the FF site which says “FF 3 Users – “The Post to WordPress Button is not yet compatible with Firefox 3. Please use the VODPOD SHARE VIDEO BUTTON instead.
It probably works the same. I got my video to my blog alright, but it did not link to the post I wanted it to, instead, it made itself a new (separate) posting. I may have mislabeled it, so I guess I’ll go back and do it again. Best of luck
