I help primary kids run ther own blogs and they think Vokis are cool -I see from the forum that we can’t post Vokis -so why does the Voki site give you the opportunity to create HTML to embed in a WordPress blog ??
-
As far as I know, voki uses javascript which is not allowed at wordpress.com due to security issues.
Look at the code, and if it says “javascript” anywhere in it, then it is not allowed.

I first saw Vokis on Edublogs sites which say they are powered by WordPress – so why is it possible on Edublog sites? – and why would the Voki site have a WordPress option? – and no the code doesn’t have ‘javascipt’ in it anywhere – I am afraid I am not technically minded so may be being rather dense !

WordPress is open source technology. Edublog have their own version of wordpress MU hence they have their own multi-userblogging platform similar to this one.
Here’s some good news. Voki can apparently be embedded in a vodpod widget http://igeog.wordpress.com/
