There are many sites that provide postal code lookup. For example, I like to use http://www.geopostcodes.com/
Also, a simple Google search can help you find an area’s postal code.
Most of the information you need to help others is in our documentation (https://wordpress.com/support/). Just use common sense.

When someone asks about a new version of WordPress what are they asking about? Phone app? Where do they get help if they have questions about updating to it?
-
“new version of WordPress” can refer to several different things, so there’s no way to answer this without knowing the context.
As I said in an earlier reply in this thread, if you’re not sure what someone is speaking about, ask them.

If a person would like to change to a different payment method how do they do so? Does staff need to do it?
-
Staff needs to change currency, but not other payment methods.
A lot of these things, you’ll see previous answers or learn as you go. Read answered posts, and you’ll get a lot of helpful information. You don’t need to know all the answers now, not to worry!

Hi,
Is there a link to the announcement that WordPress made about the classic editor being removed? If so where? It may be useful for people to be able to see that if it is not already available already.
I know about the support articles about the classic block and why to use it ect.
If a person says that they can’t find or login to their site what help can I provide? Which login issue do I tell a person about account recovery?
Which billing issues require Modlock? If a person does not understand why or what they were charged for I can give them this link https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/
Thanks.

We’ve had a feedback thread about this stuck to the top of the forums homepage since May:
https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/feedback-thread-for-the-block-editor/
It was also announced on the WordPress.com blog at https://wordpress.com/blog/2020/05/18/say-hello-to-the-wordpress-block-editor/

Find out what site they’re trying to log into. Once you know if it’s a site on WordPress.com or hosted somewhere else, you’ll know whether to send them our account recovery page, or point them to the password reset documentation on WordPress.org.

All billing issues, as we ask in the volunteer guidelines at https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-com-volunteers/#when-to-call-in-staff
