Vostok: change post background

  Hi there,

  i’m trying to change the background of a post entry within the Vostok theme via custom css. Ideal i would display a background image, but just changing the color doesn’t work for me ether.

  According to the css, the tag to overwrite should be
  .post {
  background: #3C3C3C;
  }

  but pasting this into the custom css form and changing the color has no effect at all.
  Maybe i just don’t understand some css concept, because overwriting #-tags, for example #footer works.
