VR Shortcode

I am looking to embed VR 180 photos – I followed the instructions: https://wordpress.com/support/embedding-360-photos-and-virtual-reality-vr-content/. I tried entering view=180, view=360 and view=cinema in the shortcode.
Is there a way to make the VR photo player auto select the correct options based on the shortcode? It doesn’t even auto select VR which seems mad as this is what that photo player is for, and that would seem like a huge failing if not! I wanted to create a VR photo blog, but that’s hardly tenable if you have to ask every person to change the settings for each and every photo, even though the shortcode denotes it as being VR.
In addition – the picture quality is truly terrible. Is there a way to change this? I tried changing my Media library settings to allow Large files to be 8K as per the photo, but I don’t think this is even 1080p.

I have managed to embed a YouTube VR180 video that I have uploaded – this works in the meta quest 2 in the YouTube app, however, even though the video player on WordPress has the option of VR180 and 3D SBS, this doesn’t work correctly and overlaps the images.
Any pointers on what I might be able to change would be appreciated!

Weird – I think someone’s merged my two completely separate questions into one thread – even though the second one is nothing to do with shortcode or the title of this thread?!
