W-9 Needed

  I need a W-9 in order to upgrade because of financial regulations at my library. How can I get a W-9?

  I don’t have a clue what you are referring to so please provide an active link starting with http:// to wherever W-9 is decribed.

  I’m sorry, but WordPress.com does not bill by invoice or purchase order. You must pay for the upgrade at the time of purchase.

  You must be logged in under the exact same username account that registered the blog who is Admin of the blog to purchase upgrades for the blog.

  Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades

  Below are the only means of payment available.

  WordPress.com uses PayPal as the payment processor, and as such, can only accept payment from countries they support: https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/

  In addition to major credit cards Mastercard, VISA, American Express, Discover, and PayPal https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/ WordPress.com can accept echecks and some debit cards.

  The debit card must have a VISA or Mastercard symbol on it, and should work just like a credit card when selecting the VISA or Mastercard option on the payment form, even though it’s a debit card.

  Any upgrades you purchase will be found here > Dashboard > Store My Upgrades

  There you can print out your own receipts.

  Thank you for the info! I can easily pay by credit card at the time of purchase, but I still have to have a W-9 from WordPress to add them as a “vendor” in our financial system.

  Is there a phone number or direct contact for WordPress?

  I recently renewed and did put the charge on my credit card but I also need a copy of your W-9 for the same reason as the above poster.
