    Hi there:

We don’t accept ACH and can only accept forms of payment listed here:

    https://wordpress.com/support/payment/#methods-of-payment

We can provide a W9 but it depends on what you’re purchasing. If you can let us know that we can better advise.

    Thanks!

I’ve got a grant to provide WordPress subscriptions for members of the team. I work in higher education, so it would be members of the history department and the adolescent education departments. We’re looking to provide hosting and WP subscriptions for them for one year as a trail run for potentially expanding use in the programs.

  • Hi there,

Thanks for confirming. It sounds like you would need multiple websites set up, yes? There are a few ways you can proceed:

    • You can treat this account as the “top level” account, and you have the ability to create multiple sites under it. Each site would need it’s own upgrade (we don’t have multisite packages available) but all billing would be handled centrally under this account. You can then invite stakeholders to the site they need access toby following the process here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/.
    • You can ask other members of your team to create their own WordPress.com accounts and upgrade them individually. In that event they will need to reach out to us separately for W9 info, and would have full autonomy over their sites and manage their own billing.

In any event we are able to provide a W9 for any account with a valid reason, so that is not an issue whichever you choose. Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
