Wacky blog behavior (posts appearing/disappearing)

I’m having the same type of issues, it has been going on since last night. I have sent 3 emails today to support regarding each new issue that has cropped up and have had no reply yet.
It looks like a lot of people’s time has been wasted today.

I am also having problems, but can’t even get through to email anyone for support. I get taken to an error page. I am having problems with the page showing all posts. Shows I have x amount or posts, then on the site, they are missing. Lets hope everyone’s hard work is back up and running soon!

Okay. It’s freaky again! I started another blog elsewhere just in case they can’t fix this. It’s a shame. I really liked this design and I’ve been working on finding the content and getting the widgets to work well since the start of this month!! That’s a lot of time for me with a blog!! I really hope they get it right. But, as I’ve seen in my life, you always got to have a plan B.

I switched from Blogger to WordPress because I loved the interface. It’s streamlined and attractive. I’ve got one blog with WordPress and I started a new one. My new one is the one that the posts are disappearing. My other blog, I was able to post. I posted three new topics today and they all disappeared. I had comments on each, too. I first of the three posts reappeared as a draft, and I was able to finally get it to post. The other two are gone. I tried to post a post saying to my readers sorry for the deletions, but it never posted and never appeared as drafts. It’s pretty aggrivating, and I’m considering just switching to blogger again. I don’t want to, but I also want to write.

I just started my blog and am seeing the same problems as described above. Right now, the posts are visible (at http://www.vanityimpaired.com) but in the Dashboard > Edit Posts, it only shows one post with the title I had given in yesterday. Also the blogroll link I added isn’t appearing, but shows up on the Dashboard.
WordPress seems to have a major bug at the moment.

Update: page is now displaying correctly, new post appears correctly, blogroll appears. Looks like the staff is working on the issues diligently.

I reported this issue to support yesterday. Today, I was told to force a refresh on my browser, clear my browser’s cache and delete my cookies. These actions did not solve the problem. I still have posts appearing and disappearing. And, when I edit information in posts — such as the excerpt data — it looks says it has updated. However when I go back to the posts, the information is gone. I have never had issues like this in the three years I have used wordpress.com, and I am very frustrated. — Dana, fromthekillinglines.wordpess.com

Just an update: I heard back from Support and they said that they’re experiencing some strange caching issues in the last day or two. They cleared the cache on my blog and from what I can tell it’s now working properly (I just made a post and didn’t experience any problems… yet). I’ll keep you all posted, but if they’re not closely monitoring this thread, you might want to contact support with your blog URL and ask them to clear your cache too. Good luck everyone.

I am having so many problems in the last few days. Post appearing and then vanish Drafts that should be saved not there titles of post not showing, images/videos uploading/posting problems, flashing bar at the bottom of the screen. I already wrote twice to Support. I am using Firefox (not sure this is related) but it can get really frustrating. I just came over from Blogger to WordPress and I would like to stay.
I truly hope they will fix this because even clearing cookies and cache does very little for me :(

I think they have to clear the cache for your blog on their side, not yours. It took support a little longer than one day to get back to me, so I guess just give it a little more time and they’ll get to your issue eventually.
