  I believe confirmation has taken place or you would not be able to log in here.

  Check in your email spam filter and under your “social” tab in your gmail account please, if you use it. https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/gmail-issues/

  But I also want to mention here (since this is your own thread about the issue) that I’ve sent two emails to the email address listed in your account settings. If you don’t see those emails in your inbox please follow the steps on our Gmail Issues troubleshooting page to find that email from me. You can search for a subject line including the phrase “Confirmation email not received” to find it.

  Thanks for the replies. I’m getting all kinds of email from WP.com except for the confirmation email. My gmail is mapped into my Outlook (Windows 8). It’s not in my spam folder either. Is there anything to be done? I’ve already paid for this site for 2 weeks now and I can’t do anything with it. Very frustrating. Any help is appreciated.

  rachelmcr – I got your email and replied to it. I’ve attempted to resend the confirmation email several times today and it’s not arriving.
