Waiting for ping backs

As no ping backs are currently available in the Weekly Photo Challenge, where might one be able to find this – “If you link to the challenge in your post, your post will appear in the list of responses on The Daily Post” – from the Weekly Photo Challenge paragraph at http://dailypost.wordpress.com/challenge-instructions/

Hi there!
So here’s an example of a prompt:
If you look at number 2:
2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Weekly Photo Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use the “postaday″ tag. You can also link to this post to create a pingback here and to encourage more people to participate.
When you create your post, title it exactly the way they ask, and then to link that page, within your post, select a word within the post and click on the link button. It will look like this:
Once you do that, enter the prompt page as a URL when this windows opens:
Click Add Link and you should be set! Here’s a support guide for adding links if you have any more questions:

Thank you for your detailed answer (of which I am well aware having used this method for all my challenge responses) but the issue I was pointing out was the one (which has since been resolved) where there were no ping back thumbnails coming up (for anyone) for the photo weekly challenge… -
