Waiting for staff feedback

    Hi,

    I started a thread yesterday asking for help with a site map issue. Someone replied that they had tagged it for staff attention. I am wondering how long it is likely to take for a reply, I notice on the forums that other questions asked after mine have been replied to by staff. Are questions not necessarily answered in the order they are received?

    You are referring to https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/no-xml-sitemap-1?replies=4#post-2155238 which I urge you to return to and wait for Staff to respond to.

    That thread has been tagged for Staff as stated above. Staff work through all forum threads tagged for their attention and through all email support tickets in chronological order based on datestamps and timestamps – first posted first served, as would be expected.

    How long it takes to clear the threads and support tickets depends on how many Happiness Engineers are working on them at any given point in time. It also depends on how complex the issues in each thread and ticket are are.

    Please don’t bump your thread by posting into it again because it’s not in your best interest to post to it after it has been tagged for Staff help. Doing that moves the timestamps forward and it takes longer to get a response.
