wanna show post count by filtering from category

  I have a page with Poet name.
  I wanna show posts count that are tagged with that poet name. How can i filter that posts (with the tagged poet) from other categories.

  For Example

  Category “A” is having 6 posts
  Category “B” is having 7 posts

  Post Tags are “D” , “E” , “F”

  So

  I wanna show 3 posts from Category “A” that are tagged with “D”??
