Want a build a new website with WP – our domain and current website are already with WP

  when I started the builder, it kicked me back saying the domain name is already in use. Our site is old and cumbersome. What are my options to build a new WP website while having a website already with WP. Can I reuse the domain name to build an updated site?

  Could you share the domain name that you intend to use?

  If the site address (e.g. example.wordpress.com) has been used by another user or it has been deleted, the URL cannot be recycled and reused.
