  HI I am trying to set up a free blog how do I do that?

  Hi,

  You can create a blog by going to My Sites, then Add New Site
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/create-a-blog/

  When you get to Step 2: Give your site an address. Enter the site name you would like for your blog. The first two options options are for paid plans, the third is a free plan.
