Want Anonymous Blog, Transferred it to A New Username, But People Still Follow

Hi:
I started a new blog under another user name but wanted to keep that one anonymous. So after registering it, I transferred it to another username that I set up just for this purpose.
Today I was shocked because some of the people who follow and read my other blog found my new one. I don’t know how the connection was made, since I don’t have my public blog listed as a user on my anonymous blog, nor vice versa.
What do I do? Petrified I’ll have to delete the anonymous one to avoid content being viewed by my other audience.

Delete it.
Then, using the new username only, create a new one.
It’s most likely that some of the followers are spam followers who just follow every blog in hopes you’ll follow back, but don’t take the chance. The username that creates a blog is usually discoverable.

If I delete it, I’ll lose the blog’s name. I’d like to keep the name. Is there something I’m missing that is “linking” the two?
These aren’t spam followers, they’re real users who follow my other blog. I’m so confused about how they “wandered” over to my new one. They’re not even about the same topic and don’t share tags.

If you have used seperate email addresses and seperate usernames there is no way that the two could be connected. BUT, if someone knows all your email addresses then they can find you via your emails by using the Friend Finder.

I have separate email addresses and separate usernames. I’m totally baffled. And nobody knows this email address.
How is it possible that my other audience is finding me?

This is a public forum. Everyone who can access the internet can read these threads which are indexed by Google. I flagged this thread for Staff attention so they can communicate with your be email as you have a privacy issue.

You already said you used the same username to create both blogs. THe friend finder will connect both blogs (good catch, gg!). You do not have anonymity in the second blog, and having started like this you never will. Your ONLY choice is to start over fresh.

Thank you raincoaster! Will do. I wish it were more clearly stated that connecting the two blogs via friend finder was possible.
