  hi i use too have a word press site but i cancelled the hosting and the domain- as i already have i word press account i want a free word press site like “sitename.wordpress.com is there an option in setting where i can select or add this option to my word press account that i log in with but has no actual site as i got rid of the original domain and hosting account?

  It already exists. You can’t activate it. You will need to pick a new name.
