Want comments to appear under post

When readers write comments on our post, the comments are not displayed below our post. They are just sent to me in an email. We would like the comments to show up under the post so that people can interact with each other right on our site.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi Robert,

When you receive the email that essentially notifies you about the comment, do you moderate the comments made and then subsequently approve or disapprove their publication on the posts? Only the ones that you approve will be displayed underneath the posts. Check out these support documents if you haven’t had the chance to:

I hope I understood your issue appropriately, but feel free to reach out again if I haven’t. There’s a ton of volunteers here more than willing to help in case I don’t get back to you soon enough.

    Martin

Frankly, it sounds like you’re using a Contact Form instead of comments and/or you have comments set to moderation.

I could be wrong but I think you are referring to collapsed comments on the front page of your blog. The way your theme and blog are functioning is the norm. Unless you use the P2 theme which is a Twitter-like theme, know that the front pages of our blogs “showcase content” and comments are collapsed on that page. You cannot change this. The way the comments function is coded into the core of WordPress. By clicking the post title or the comments link the posts on the front page open on their own page where all comments display. If this were not the case every time a visitor came to your blog they would experience a slow page loading time as the front page would be miles long.
