want different username for 2nd blog

  Here’s the thing, I’m an idiot. I have used WP.com for a free blog using my evil alias because ya know, I’m an adult and I swear and don’t want employers (or family) seeing my stuff.

  I had this idea about making a 2nd blog — one that would use my name and get this: be aimed at kids. Hilarious but oh-so-not-okay when it shows my USERNAME as my evil alias. No kid needs to see my evil self.

  I thought that I could just change the username for the 2nd one but it looks like changing your username means well — your USERNAME, as in you get ONE.

  So, I’m screwed. I think. I thought to simply delete the 2nd blog and start over but the warning says that name cannot be used once deleted.

  Gah! Please advise how best to untangle what I’ve done. The good news is that I didn’t put up any CONTENT for the 2nd blog but the bad news is I’m still an idiot who can’t figure out what to do.

  Well, that was completely the worst thing that I could’ve done. I’ve now posted publicly — ensuring that I didn’t put the 2nd blog name in the post but the required drop-down has publicly provided that 2nd blog.

  Super.

  If anybody would take pity and delete the original help request, due to the fact it just TOLD WHAT I WAS TRYING TO KEEP PRIVATE, I’d appreciate it. Plus, I’ve now learnt to never post to the forums for help.

  Crap. Go, me.

  Seriously? The only help I need now is to PLEASE delete that post. I’ve already deleted the 2nd blog. I have to go jump off a cliff now.
