want homepage static, new posts on some other page–how?

  Hi,

  Basically my problem is as stated in the subject line. I want to know how to switch the page that your posts go to, instead of having it automatically be the home page. Is this possible?

  Hello there,
  Yes and it’s easily don on this page Settings > Reading after you create a static page to change the post display to.
  Create page > http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/#writing-a-new-page
  Search string “static front page”
  Search result > http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/

  You have the famous “Two home pages” problem.

  Once you create a static page, you need to go to your Settings and make sure you choose it as the landing page for your blog.
