Want images to fade when mouse hovers over

  I want the square images on this page to go to 50% opacity when I hover my mouse over them:

  I’ve tried lots of fixes from online but nothing works.

  Thanks! I don’t understand how you specified the images to fade over…I am trying to apply the same effect to the Private Portraits page but can’t work it out?
