Want live link in a text widget

  I have an Announcement text widget on the right side of my blog. I would like to add a “live” link to another web site. When I paste in the web link it just shows the link but doesn’t create a clickable live link. How can I add that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
