Want new added blog separate from this old one

I wanted to start a new blog however I forgot to log out of Rambling Roze to do this and now I have an additional blog with the name I want to use under RR. What is bad is that any posts I write show RR as posting. I don’t want the 2 connected because my 2nd one is anonymous. Is there anything I can do?
[My plan is to have my 2nd one hosted on its own site. I’ve already purchased the domain and would love to use WordPress.net but since I don’t now how to do this yet (still trying to figure it out) I thought I’d get it started on WordPress.com.]
As an aside…I am planning on deleting RR once my new one is up and running. I could wait until then if by deleting RR my other one will remain. Does anyone know if this happens?
I don’t want to dump the blog name…Any help would be appreciated.

Logout.
Register as a new user.Login as you are now.
Go to the new blog.
On the Users page add the ‘new you’
LogoutLogin as the ‘new you’
Go to the Users page and remove the old you.All you need is another email address to do this….

Mark, I tried this and it doesn’t work because I created my new blog (PS) accidently under RR so it shows my RR username with PS which I don’t want. Ideally I want them “unlinked.” I tried adding a new blog and just requesting a new username but they both say the name is in use (PS).
Maybe I’m misunderstanding your directions?

Here’s the solution:
Create a new identity, B. Then have RR make B an administrator of blog B. Then have B delete RR from blog B. That will do it.

Sign out. Go to WordPress.com. Click the big green button and register with a new identity and email.

Tried that (see previous post). It does not work because I accidentally already set up the new blog (PS) under RR. It says that the user name I want is in use (and it is by ME in my new PS blog). I’ve tried adding that identity to RR but it doens’t work. WP says that that identity or email is not recognized.

Then set up a THIRD identity, using the method outlined above. Quite possibly your second identity is borked for good; staff may be able to fix it (the “unrecognized” issue) but don’t bet on it. It’s possible that will settle down in a few days and be fixed, but in the mean time you want RR off that blog. This will do it.

I’m posting for the first time as a guest poster on someoneelse’s blog. I wrote my post but there was no publish button or option to publish. The only 3 buttons I get are SAVE, SAVE AND EDIT and SUBMIT FOR REVIEW. Why am I not seeing a PUBLISH button?

because the person who administers the blog has not allowed you to have a publish button. They are requiring you to submit your posts to them for review.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll ask the blog admin, but I was told in my instructions to “hit publish” and put it up myself.

Sounds like they need to change your access level for that to be an option. Tell them to upgrade you. Admins can do everything. I believe contributors can’t edit posts, but can publish them. Whatever level you’re at, you need an upgrade.
