want "new page" without "homepage" header.

Hello all:) I am new here, and working on building a blog. I tried some of your written tutorials, and they are great so far, except I can’t figure out how to make a “new page” that just has the basic background without the header image I use on my “home” page you will see if you got to my site.
I’m sure it’s something simple but I’ve strained on it long enough, need to ask for help;) So thank you in advance for any help/feedback someone might provide:)

It looks like the site listed in your question http://deniseevanscreations.wordpress.com/. has been deleted. Did you decide to go a different way, or are you asking your question about a different site? If it’s one of your other sites, could you please post the url? Your question is theme specific so being able to see your site is key to helping you.
