The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hello,

With the Custom Design upgrade (specifically the Custom CSS part) you can hide the post date from being displayed in browsers.

The CSS forums have various threads on how to do that, like this one.

    Cheers!

Thanks, However, I am certain I do NOT have the Custom CSS upgrade – and I was able to eliminate them when I first set up this blog in the fall……with out the method that you’ve suggested (none of my other pages or posts have dates…..so I am guessing their is another way? Any other suggestions?

apokalyptik…….I just went back to verify that the date was not on any of the other posts…….and found that the date is NO longer on the new post I made today………..not sure why it was there at first – but it seems to have resolved itself……..Thanks MOintegrations

I am back to the same problem again. I do not mind the date associated with blog posts given at the bottom. But last week I made two new posts with Title and Photo’s – the first one…titled “Establishing Vibrant Health Through Bodywork” shows the date it was created and by whom (integrations) just under the title. The other post…along with all my former posts, Do Not show this info under the title……..Why is it appearing there in this one and how can I remove it?

Hi there! Your site is looking terrific. You’ve done a lot with it since I’ve seen it last.

The issue you’re having is caused because some Posts are set as Portfolio items, and others are not. To keep consistent with the author/date stamp, you will have to use the same portfolio settings in all your Posts.

This discrepancy in the way dates/times appear in your Posts is the default of your theme. The only way to remove those tags, and keep only some items in the Portfolio and others as regular Posts, is to use some CSS code. As DK mentioned, that’s only possible with the Custom Upgrade, so if you don’t want to purchase that, you should try out the first solution and see if it suits you.

I hope this helps! Best wishes to you.
