WANT OLD BLOG ADDRESS BACK

I made a big mistake when I deleted my old blog and url address. I have a new blog but would really like to have the old address back as it’s referred to in important places for people to contact me. Any chance I can do this?

Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and the only exceptions are made are for URLs that were deleted 2 or more years ago. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
