Hey,
to be able to use custom plugins you will need to upgrade to Business Plan
Once you have that, you can install third-party plugins of your choosing. You can read more about how to do that here:

Hi there!
I am afraid this feature is not supported at the moment on WordPress.com, as this post with Staff reply suggested:

This plugin has now been added to the WordPress.com plugin directory https://wordpress.com/plugins/cd-baby-player-emded but as @liwkita says, you would need the Business plan to install it. To upgrade a WordPress.com plan: https://wordpress.com/plans

Thanks for rectifying, I wasn’t aware it has been added.
p.s. I can see the spelling mistake on the link too :)

Hi there,
I see you’ve already received help with this via live chat, so I’m setting this thread to resolved. In future, please use that method to contact us when you need help with your site, as this forum is mostly for free users and the volunteers here don’t have access to the tools required to help you.

I do need to point out the plugin you want to use was last updated four years ago, so you should be prepared for it to not work well with the latest version of WordPress, and it might break completely with any future update of your theme, another plugin, or even the core WordPress software. Should that happen there won’t be anything we can do to help, as we did not create that plugin.
The slugs for plugins and themes are pulled directly from the WordPress.org repository, and you’ll see this plugin has the same slug there:
That slug is set by the theme/plugin author, and when added to a site that is the folder on the server where the plugin gets installed. You’re welcome to report this in the support forum for that plugin, but it doesn’t look like the plugin author has ever responded to support requests regarding that plugin and they’re not maintaining it any more either.
