Want posts that go to e-mail subscribers to come from me, not WordPress
-
I have the Twenty Ten theme and I recently designed a logo for my blog. As a result, I deleted the blog title under the Dashboard–>General settings because I didn’t want the title to appear twice. Now, e-mail subscribers tell me that my blog name does not appear in the “From” or “Subject” of the e-mails that are sent out when there is a new post. It looks as if the e-mail is coming from WordPress and not me. This can be a deterrent from them opening the e-mail (they’re confused or unfamiliar about who “WordPress” is) and I fear they may think its spam.
Is there a way to have the e-mail that goes out to subscribers say for sure that it is from my blog “Magnet for Foolishness” and not “WordPress” without having to have the default title at the top, which is now duplicative of the title in the logo? Or is there a way to change the font color of the default title to white so that it doesn’t appear on the blog, but still registers when e-mails are sent out? Thank you very much for your help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can usually go to the header page on your dashboard and put in the title but there should be an option there to hide the title on the actual header. Then it will still be in your emails. Removing the title text altogether is going to hurt your blog with search engines.

Thanks. I did that, but now it also takes away the tagline, which I wanted to keep. Is there a way around that?

Hmm, I don’t think there is. Unfortunately I think they’re both a part of the same section in the CSS.
