Want the Personal Plan but have a domain name already….help

Hi–my husband has a domain name and it would need, I guess, to be mapped to the new site on Word Press. We would like to go with the less expensive Personal site (he doesn’t need the $100 advertising credit, video and audio which goes with the next higher plan. Is it possible to map a domain name he already has to the lesser bells and whistles Personal site?
