Want to add 3rd party ads on my wordpress site

Hi sir,
I want to add 3rd party ads in my WP site. I have a custom domain, but yet to map it with wordpress. Ive already read some forums regarding this matter. And i have some doubts.
I bought the domain in Godaddy. If i host the domain in godaddy, can i add 3rd party ads in wordpress site builder?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The rules DO CHANGE so it’s best to refer to the official WordPress.com support pages for information, forum posts can be based on out-of-date information and sometimes people’s opinions are biased by factors like their personal prejudices, and in some cases even completely incorrect.
Specifically – you can’t add 3rd party ads in the way that you’ve asked on WordPress.com. Things like Google AdSense aren’t allowed here, nor are banner ads. Consider applying for the WordAds program instead.

If i host my domain in BlueHost and install wordpress in it , then can I add ads banners?
Im not a techie. I couldnt understand few technical explainations.
Will the wordpress app in Bluehost works like a website builder or something else? Can u explain me sir.

If you host NOT on WordPress.com then of course you can do what you like.
WordPress software will allow you to build your site, and then there are plugins (often free) to help you with things like AdSense and banner ads.
