Want to add date and time on the Page

Hi ,
I want to add time and date on my wordpress blogs. Few blog host provide the facility to customize the template as per the requirement . How we can customize the wordpress blog’s templates or can add the time and date on the blog.Regards

purchase the css upgrade. you can edit the css free of charge but it can only be seen by you, as a test. if you want your blog readers to see your css customised blog you have to purchase it.

I also believe that some themes do have the date and time built into the existing programming but I don’t know which ones they are.
Perhaps anyone else reading this who knows of a theme that does this can reply to this thread and help you out.

Adding the date and the time won’t happen with the CSS upgrade. You would need to edit the theme files and since we’re on a shared environment with WordPress MultiUser, that can’t happen. If you were using the WordPress software and hosted elsewhere, it can be done though.

Best bet is to change themes to one that shows the date and time of posts.
Also check
* Dashboard >> Options >> Default data format and Default time format
If they are blanked out then the date and time won’t show up regardless of your theme.

referring to your question of customising the blog template, of course. my bad.
if you search the forum you can find a previous thread in which someone has nicely listed themes which have timestamps or not.
