Want to block followers thru email

    Hello, forum! I want to know how to avoid being spammed. I receive notices of so-called followers thru email. The daily notices I receive, are always from ‘@outlook’
    By now I am fed with whoever is doing this. Whether is automatic or manually I don’t know how that is done. I do want subscribers for my WordPress page, but want to avoid this particular nuisance.
    Is there a way to do that without sacrificing my any future followers?

    Hi –

    Spam is unavoidable. With that said, please know that we are aware of the Outlook email subscription spam followers and have been working towards a resolution. As they are coming from multiple locations it’s not a super simple process.

    Spam is part of being online. It’s annoying. We hate it as much as you, I promise.

    There isn’t any security risk to your site or account because of this and they aren’t actually following your site as they get removed automatically.
