  I do not see a one month option for a trial.

  According to https://wordpress.com/support/refunds/#refund-periods, WordPress.com offers a no questions asked refund policy:

  Plans

  WordPress.com annual, two-year, and three-year plans are refundable within 14 days of purchase or renewal.

  WordPress.com monthly plans are refundable within 7 days of purchase or renewal.

  The 100-year plan is refundable within 120 days.

  If you wish to downgrade from a higher plan to a lower plan and just refund the difference in cost between the two plans, visit the Downgrade your plan guide.

  So you could visit https://wordpress.com/plans and upgrade your account and test during the trial period. The length depends on your plan.

  Or you could pay for a month of Business and if it works out, switch to the annual plan. https://wordpress.com/support/manage-purchases/change-your-payment-frequency/
