Want to buy a domain which seems to be already taken but doesnot actually exist

  Hi,

  I have opened a site kiteindustries.wordpress.com . I now want to upgrade it to kiteindustries.com but WordPress says that the domain is already taken. When I tried open the site kiteindustries.com, the page redirects me to godaddy.com and on that page it says that the latter has parked it.

  How do I get it released from godaddy and register from WordPress? Do I have to Godaddy too?

  Please advice. Thank you in advance.

  @Raincoaster, could you throw more light on this please?

  Godaddy says I will have to $7.99 to get that domain. If I pay the price at godaddy, will the domain become automatically available at wordpress? Please advise.

  If you get (register) the domain name from (with) Godaddy then you can still map it to your blog here
