Hello! Could you please provide me with an email or phone of a WordPress Client Support for Sweden. I’m planning on upgrading and buyng a new package but need some technical information first. Thnak you.

There is no telephone support at WordPress.com. Livechat support is available once you have upgraded to a paid plan. With a free plan you need to post your questions here. If a volunteer can’t help with your technical information then I’m sure a member of staff can.

I see, thanks. Well, my main question is how long it takes for WordPress to upgrade my free website to a paid version with my own modified domain name? Since the paid version will replace an existing website, which we want to delete, we need to know when to de-active the old one. The paid WordPress version website will take over the name of this existing website and there can’t be two websites with the same name at the same time, right?

You can either leave your custom domain where it is and map it to a WordPress.com site, or depending on its suffix, transfer the domain here. In both cases the domain name won’t be in two places at the same time. Don’t delete your existing site too soon though if you have content to transfer. A lot depends on where your current site is hosted and if it is using the WordPress.org software or not.
