Want to cancel domain, possible move to another register with the same name?

    Hi there,

    I would like to cancel my domain in order to move to another register, but I am not sure if my original domain name will be available again as I really want to register with that. I came across this whilst searching for answers:

    “If you notify us within two days of purchase you may cancel a domain name purchased through WordPress.com and receive a full refund. After cancellation, there is no guarantee that the domain will become available to register somewhere else and you may not be able to get it back.”

    Can you please help me out?

    Keep the domain if you like it – after 60 days (internet rules) you can transfer it to a different registrar if you want – in the mean time you change the name servers to point to the proper location at your new host and you are good to go – (unless you get a junky host that does not understand name servers) – and you are good to go and still registered here
