want to change few things on nextgen gallery (noob help

hi guys, i’m stuck and i need some help. couple of questions –

link

1. i want big images to align left. (click on image #3).
i don’t know where to add ‘text-align:left’ when i use google inspect element tool (which i clearly suck at it), it only confuses me more… i tried

galleria-images {text-align:left;}

didn’t work

2. i want images to be resized to 480px tall.

currently all images are 600px tall. and so i did something like this

.ngg-galleria-parent .ngg-galleria {
height: 80%;
width: 100%;
margin: 0 auto;
box-sizing: border-box;
}
i deleted it and went back to default because it makes huge gap 20% below. obviously it’s happening because i made it 80%

i don’t know what makes overall gallery’s height ‘698px’ i just want image to be resized…

3. not sure why, but image is 940px, but it resizes to 932px
so it’s not perfectly lined up.

i basically like the way my home page looks. image isn’t so tall and it’s balanced. i want the project page to look like that. can you guys help me?

thx in advance!

Hi, the site you referenced has only the sample default content from 2007. Given I’m also seeing ngg-galleria, I suspect you are talking about a self-hosted WordPress site using the software from WordPress.org.

I would suggest asking for help from the theme author directly or ask in the volunteer-based WordPress.org Themes and Templates forum.

For general questions on self-hosted WordPress.org installations, visit http://wordpress.org/support/.
