Want to change “Leave a reply” text before comments
-
I’ve changed the text above the reply box before, but I can’t seem to find the means to do it now. I read the instructions here: https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/how-to-change-leave-a-reply-text/. But when I go to Settings—>Discussion and scroll down, there’s nothing that says “Comment Form.”
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Access to the feature from the forum post is no longer available. However, I still have access to this feature and would be happy to update the text for you if you want to provide it in the reply. Let me know. Thanks! -

Hi there!
Not really. It’s not available anymore, but some themes/sites have this feature that only we can access. That’s how @staff-doublebassd offered to help you. You can share the text you’d like, and we can add it for you.

All right. I don’t understand why this feature would not be available to everyone like it was before. But thank you for offering help.
I’d like the text above the reply box changed to this:
I love hearing from you. Leave comments here, and they will appear after I see and approve them. If you have trouble commenting, please let me know at my email address in the sidebar.

Hi there!
I’ve added the text that you shared. The reason it’s no longer available is that most of the themes that use this feature are retired, and newer themes have the flexibility to have text like this added directly using templates (which is much more flexible and lets you add not just text but image and any other block).
Hope that helps!
