Want to change my blog's name.Do I need to add a new blog to do this? if so how?

  Having trouble adding a new blog to my existing account. When I select the new blog name (.net) it only allows me to enter it as a new blog. The “add to existing blog” button takes me to help pages but does not allow me to add it to my blog.
