Want to change my email address

    I had two WordPress accounts with two different email addresses. I have deleted the first account. Now I want to link the email address of the first WordPress account (which has been deleted) to my second WordPress account. When I tried to do this WordPress displayed an error saying that the email ID is already in use, while I had already deleted my WordPress account linked with that email ID. Can you guys please help me with it? This matter is of great importance for me, Thanks.

    Hi there!

    Please note that if you’ve deleted an account, you will only be able to use the email address with another account after 30 days.

    If you need to use the email before that time, it’s better to reopen the closed account and change the email address there. This way, the email you wish to use will be free.

    If this is something you’d like to do, let us know the username for the closed account.
