Want to change to paid plan BUT login is redirecting to wrong URL so can’t sign in
-
HI!
I’m a newspaper adviser for my college paper that has a wordpress online site. The editor accidentally changed the SITE URL to a wrong URL address and now we can’t login. It get’s redirected to a completely different page so we can’t access the dashboard, etc.
We are wanting to convert our site to a paid plan, but we can’t access it to do that.
We are completely unaware of answers to these questions:
Is there a way we can reset the faulty redirection issue so we can login?
If we construct a new paid WordPress site, can we migrate our content from the non-pay site to the new one without logging in to the site we currently use?
Any help would be very wonderful to have!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If changing the site URL has locked you out, your site is usually using WordPress the software and not WordPress.com hosting. What website is this for? Let us know the original URL before it was changed.
Keep in mind that if the site isn’t hosted on WordPress.com servers, then the forums at https://wordpress.org/support will be better for how to resolve the error. You’d go through the hosting back end to fix it. Here’s a bit about the differences- https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
