Want to click on a word to listen to it….

  Hard to describe on the topic title exactly what I mean.

  here we go – I intend to post a recipe for a Brazilian dish, with a name that would be hard for non-Brazilians to pronounce. I managed to record my voice saying it, and saved it as a wav file.

  how do I convert the wav file into a hot link, so that people could click “here” and listen to the word? is it doable?

  You can either find a site external to WP.com that allows hotlinking, like Fileden, host it there, and hotlink it, OR you can purchase the space upgrade and upload it here, then add it as a link on that word.

  Ok, it is done.

  Now, that Fileden site is a major pain, they REALLY keep insisting on all kinds of offers while you are registering, it took me forever to finally set my account, but…. success!

  But it won’t be a pain from now on. Fileden has the major advantage of giving direct URLs: most free hosting sites don’t.
