  How the heck do I close A WordPress account and it’s associated domain name? Is it possible to speak to a human being at WordPress? I’m going round and round trying to close out my account. I don’t know why it should be so difficult. I’ve spent a couple of hours trying to delete the account, and was given the notice that because it is a ‘premium’ account (I have a domain name that expires in 4 days), I cannot delete the account through WordPress. Does the fact that I have received a notice mean that the domain will expire? That’s what I want, but I do not want to be charged when it expires and then automatically have my account renewed. However, there is no clear cut way to delete a domain upgrade either. I feel stuck and frustrated. I do not want to be charged for a site I do not use (and have not used for the last few years – although I get a automatic renewal every year!) The email notice about the renewal is of no value either because it just directs me back to the site that tells me I cannot delete the site.

  The 877-273-3049 phone number provided for WordPress (which is a third party entity) is of no use either since it’s just a recording and refers you back to the site:
