  Hi, I just created new account, but decided I want to close it for now.

  You can close it permanently if you’d like. You’d have 30 days to reverse, but after that it cannot be undone.

  Or, if you want to just “pause” feel free to make any sites private, and block emails from us:
  https://wordpress.com/me/notifications/subscriptions

  That way you can wait as long as you’d like, then re-enable it later.
