  I want to create a new E-commerce site using word press and migrate it to my Go Daddy hosting . How would I do that?

  Hi there,

  You’ve landed here on the WordPress.com forums which is for the managed hosting solution. It sounds as though you’re looking for WordPress.org.

  I would recommend reaching out to your host (in this case GoDaddy) as they would be able advise how to set up the WordPress website directly on GoDaddy.

  I’d recommend against building the site at one host with the intent to move to another, though. They’ll likely be slightly different environments, and moving everything is laborious.

  If it helps, WordPress.com is a managed hosting service. Our Pro plan includes a WordPress installation with SSL hosting, security, maintenance, direct WordPress support and some other services like spam filtering and backups.

  Or, you can set up your own copy of WordPress and handle your own hosting and what not through another host like GoDaddy. Does that make sense? Whichever option you choose, I’d recommend setting up the site where you intend to host it. We have more information about the differences here:
