Want to delete a site

Can’t delete site because we get the warning: Warning! You cannot delete a site if it has a domain registration upgrade because you need access to the site in order to get to the domain manager.
We don’t need this site and we’re letting the domain name expire. I would like to delete the site and have it done with.

Thank you for tagging this for follow-up, our URL is http://www.kuarchitecture.org. We just don’t need it anymore, and don’t want/need to transfer it.

Another WordPress.com user owns kuarchitecture.wordpress.com and its associated custom domain, kuarchitecture.org.
Only the owner of the site/domain can delete/cancel it.
If you also control this account, but have lost access, let me know and I will review your Account Recovery options.

I will contact the owner and have them verify the account closure with you. Is there a way to do this so that’s not all out in a public forum?
