Want to delete current template and content

  I want to delete the current template and all its content to start over, but keep the domain. I’ve already deleted all the pages and posts, but something is still there that I can’t get rid of.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You always need a Theme (template) – you can change themes but you always need a theme here – and if you were not hosted here and you deleted the theme – your site would be useless as far as anything WordPress is concerned

  Of course, you need a theme/template for the site. Let me rephrase the question… Is there a way to reset all the settings and customizations for the current template? I would like to start afresh with new template.

  Hi… I cannot edit my template.. I woke up one morning and all my content on home page had gone. I then tried another template and then went back to Twenty Twelve. only to find an image from the previous template appeared when I tried to edit the twenty Twelve template. BUT the interesting thing is I cannot edit anything when I press the EDIT option on any Template I activate.

  This is very frustrating as I need to update the home page ..

  Please can any one help .. I have done the usual bits clear cookies, cache, tried another PC, laptop still the same.

  I had similar problems with images, but am frustrated by some of the settings. I finally just tried to delete everything and start over again. Not efficient and probably not the best way to do this, but couldn’t figure out another option.

  Yeap…. Just doing the same.. It’s very frustrating . Please can you help in deleting. When I log in I have two WordPress sites El rincon community and el rincon test. I just want to get rid of the test site. How do I do this? I do not want to loose the main site.

  You cannot edit any theme here. You can customize it IF you have the Custom Design upgrade, but not if you don’t.

  There are settings and options for some templates that you can “customize” or adjust without using the custom design upgrade.

  please I am not concerned with themes now as I have done what mazuevents suggested I want to delete a SITE as mentioned above’

  You go to the dashboard of the site you want to delete, and on the Tools page you’ll see DELETE. This is permanent and irreversible and neither you nor anyone else can get the content or URL ever again. So we normally suggest just setting it to Private instead. Then you can reactivate it whenever you want and if you get drunk or something and do it to the wrong blog, no harm done.
